I have recently purchased 2 sets of Topspin Cyberflash. I know that it is a good overall string. Since i wont be stringing it for a month or two, i was wondering exactly how it plays. I know that there are reviews on tt but i was looking for a variety of opinions.

Control, Power, Feel, Spin, Groundstrokes, Volleys, Serves, and anything else:)

CF and SPPP are pretty similar. Here's how I'd rate them:

Control:
SPPP
CF

Power:
CF
SPPP

Feel:
CF
SPPP

Spin (assuming smallest gauge possible, which is 1.20 i believe)
SPPP
CF

Groundstrokes:
SPPP
CF

Volleys:
CF
SPPP

Serves:
CF
SPPP

Overall, I like CF a little bit better but both are good strings.

I just played a set today with this strung at 55# on Head Graphite Edge. Very comfortable and very nice pop and control. This is the string luxilon BB wishes it could be.

I like it a lot, but feel it starts to get springy/rubbery pretty quick.

SPPP and CF are my two favourite polys that I've tried so far. You can't go wrong with either, but I like CF a little bit more.

If you want even better string tension than what CF gives you then try CP

Max, I'm not disagreeeing with your comparisons, but I would certainly not call CF and SPPP "pretty similar."

To me they were as different as night and day: CF was crisp, had very good spin, with nice feel and touch. SPPP was muted, dull, and almost mushy.

In conclusion, I really liked CF, and really did not at all like SPPP.

hey hood, i know you were looking for a good string to put in the crosses with cyberflash, and if you havent tried it yet, i suggest big ace, amazing feel, crisp, controlled, and durable

I also think CF and SPPP are very different! hoodjems analysis is spot on, and CF is a big step up for spin.

i have to agree with hoodjem, i tried sppp and found it bad, to say the least. cyberflash was great, for 6 hours then total crap. again cyberflash was much better, but durability stinks.. kirchbaum pro line II is much better, and msv co focus is even better. i would try these instead.

CF and BA? Really?
Amazing feel? Wow! Alright! I'll take you word for it.

Thats interesting hoodjem. What tension did you string it at? I strung both at 53 i believe and CF had more feel and more power to it, but it wasn't exactly a night and day difference. I agree with the statement about how SPPP has a muted, dead feel. I may have to retest SPPP, because back when I used it, my arm wasnt "tuned" to polys. Now that I have gone through a lot of poly and I know how to play well with it, Maybe I should reevaluate it.

Both were strung around 59 (in my old frame). I was using CF 1.20 and SPPP 1.18. CF certainly had a lot more feel. I thought CF 1.20 was pretty damn good!

Maybe other gauges feel differently.

Haven't used the CF yet, but expect it won't keep tension maintenance like BA, right?

I've heard that CF keeps tension a lot longer than Lux strings, but doesn't have that initial periond of wonderfulness. It just feels pretty darn good for a lot longer.
