The Black psgd seems a lot greasier than regular PSGD. It would slip out of my hands a lot more and crosses were a pain (18x20 racquet btw)

I noticed that too. is the black just painted on? I heard from some people that the black PSGD leaves black "grill-marks" on the ball after contact. Good thing i only have 1 black PSGD left.

Greasy? I dont know i dont string, it does however leave black marks on the ball, that doesnt bother me, in fact it helps me distinguish my balls from the people playing next to me

i used once a gray psgd 16 and it was very greasy, while the other colors of psgd i use like blue and white are not greasy at all.

I thought the same thing with the dull yellow color. The black Head Syn. was kind of greasy too.

i don't know why, but my white one was sort of greasy, i think the one from the reel is greasier than the one in packs, well for the white color it is

I have only used the white and fluorescent green colors and neither of those are greasy.

Hmm, maybe waxy is a better word. or slippery.

The white wasn't bad. I use that one often without trouble. Maybe it was the string pattern that bothered me.

My stringer said X-1 biphase was quite greasy.

Silicone! The coating on some colors react different to silicone. Transparent Gold is different than coated Black!
