Just curious as to what you all spend for your gym and/or local tennis club. I wanted to see what the typical going rate is:

Locally:
Our club has a full gym, swimming pool (outdoor and in a bubble during the winter), tennis courts (indoor and outdoor), locker-room, raquetball, etc.

Cost is around $80 a month. Outdoor tennis court reservations are free, indoor reservations are $10 for a court during the winter, $5 during the summer. Swimming is free year round as it all the other stuff (gym, raquetball, etc.)

Not exactly sure, but about $150 a year for membership.

Court fees? Nope. Access to our beautiful grass courts whenever I want. You guys have it pretty rough :\

4 grand a person per summer. 6 clay courts, no reservations. Also included is an outdoor pool.

In the winter I pay around 75 an hour for courts. It's not at one specific place, but that's the average cost around my hometown.

Place: Greenwich, CT. However, my club is fairly cheap considering some most cost upwards of 10 grand a person a year, but usually that includes year-round squash, racquetball, a full gym, golf, a pool, a formal dining area, etc... My place is a clubhouse, some courts, and a pool. The cost is about the same of the upwards areas throughout my county. However, Stamford is the cheapest, where on certain nights, I can get indoor court time for 40 bucks an hour, which is REALLY cheap. I have also played where this year's USO Junior Boys final was held, at Soundshore Indoor in Port Chester, New York, which is within walking distance from my house. That's 20 bucks an hour on weekday mornings until 10. Then it's like 55 an hour per court.

I have no idea what clubs cost here in LA, but public courts that take reservations cost $6-$8/hr. However, there are many good free courts in my area so it is only for league matches that I end up paying court costs.

$2 day time, $3 night for 1.5 hours. Can stay longer if nobody is waiting for your court. Lots of free courts available if you want to deal with possible waiting. No indoor courts around here.

Private clubs vary. Some are pretty cheap but actually have worse courts than the public facilities. On the high end I know there is one club that is $30,000 to join for tennis only and $150,000 for golf.

In south Dakota it was 120 a month unlinited court time and ball machine use.

Club in hershey PA is 150/yr member fee and 28/hr before 5pm and 32/hr after 5 pm. 25/hr on weekends. There are other clubs in the MD/PA area that seems to be around the same deal.

We play for free. Sometimes, we'll have to pay $2 if they (the rec. dept.) has someone on duty, but otherwise, first come, first serve - and there's almost always a court available.

150 Bucks for my whole family (4 people) to use 5 clubs citywide. The one I live closest too (2 min car ride) has 15 courts, unlimited use, as well as gym, racquetball, indoor and outdoor pools. Other 4 clubs have various specialties, but lucky for me i live closest too the tennis one. I live in Albuquerque, NM and the clubs are New Mexico Sports and Wellness.
