i'm sure someone knows the answer to this, but it doesn't seem like they have much trouble with the ink coming off...

same as us, stencil ink, and it does come off but they only use strings short times.

They change raquets every few games, so there is no time for it to come off.

It happens all the time. The middle of the W on Wilson racquets wears out all the time...so does the top part of the Yonex logo.

I see the ink come off all the time in the center of the racquet especially Dunlop's:

Muster used to do the reverse stencil on his Kneissls; he'd black out the strings around the Kneissl star, and leave the actual logo unpainted in the center of the strings. It seemed he was trying to avoid having it come off, especially since he always used polyester strings and that stencil ink does not adhere to polyester at all.
