If so, what did you do to get it back?
I've spent the winter playing too much with the same person. Tonight I stepped on the court with a stranger and got beat by an inferior player because I just expected to win.
What did you do to get your fire back? This really bothers me!!!

Stop thinking of them as inferior players and figure out what they did to throw you off your game (high shoulder level balls, no pace, etc). And work on those weaknesses.

Well, don't underestimate your opponent and don't over estimate your skills. You are no Roger Federer my friend, so don't every think you are too good for someone.
Work hard, and have confidence in your strokes and go out there and play your game.

I've thought about it and this is what I came up with as well.
He had a poor warm up and for some reason that was all I felt I needed to win.
Stay focused!

Yeah, don't EVER go by the warmup, when I was younger I used to throw my warmups and make balls fly out and chuck them into the net haha, and then I would play normal when the matchplay started...much to the surprise of my opponent. I don't do that anymore because I have since realized that the warmup is a good time to get the kinks out of your strokes, but even so, yes, he could have had a bad warmup.
