Nike camps are OK but you really aren't going to improve that much with a one week camp. Places like Saddlebrook and Bolliteri definitely offer some world class accommodations, but unfortunately if you don't stick out from Day 1 they won't pay a whole lot of attention to you. So I guess what I am trying to say is that don't expect to improve "a lot" from the camp. You will probably enjoy yourself though in the camp and they won't place you with 9 year olds lol.

No matter which camp, you'll barely improve if it's only one week.

i tried the stanford nike tennis camp for the national players and it was pretty good. there was one ITF player (alex robles) and some very hard hitters. i dont know if its exactly the same at other locations, but at stanford we did a couple hours on every aspect (singles, doubles, serve, forehand, etc..) every day. i didn't improve that much but you do get good experience from it

at 17 I would not go to Nike. I went to those camps when I was 11, 12, 13 and that was how old most of the kids were. It could be different at your site but thats my experience with it

This camp is pretty good. I was lucky enough to go to the one at University of Virginia. Coach Brian Bolland was the head guy there. Unfortunately, Somdevv Devarman couldn't be there because he was playing futures, but there were some pretty good uva (div. 1) players that gave us instruction. I forgot his name, but there was this guy who was 5'10 who had an insanely powerful serve. Don't know his name, but he was one of the div. 1 players.
The food is ok. You eat the college food. Evening activities include extra tennis, swimming, or just staying in your dorm. Everyone returns to the dorm at around 9 pm which gives you time to shower and at 10 the lights have to go out, but nobody follows that rule.
So basically, this camp won't improve your game significantly, but it gives you a chance to hit with a lot of people and div. 1 players.
Those div. 1 guys were scary good. They could literally rally forever and change directions at the command of the coach.

Be sure you go to a better one. Some are pretty good while other's are not. I thought it was really fun, and I did improve a bit, bot it's more for a camp experience, not getting better.

The Nike camps can vary considerably in their level, so make sure you go to the right one. Last year our 9-year old son went to one and it was well below his level even though he only plays low-level tournaments.
There are many camps around here, and places that hold Nike ones (e.g. Emory University) also hold plenty of non-Nike ones. To be honest, we felt that they just attached the Nike name to their camp for one or two weeks and jacked up the price.
