How does the green prestige compare with other prestiges?

yuth
01-29-2009, 10:40 PM
In my opinions, I think that Green is more head light than normal prestige. It's easy to swing. More power and control a ball, compare with pc600.

I love it more than others and I will show you my thought.

I love Green prestige > PC600 > Prestige pro tour (suspension grip) > MG prestige > i prestige > LM prestige > flexpoint prestige

nice all i got is a ceramic pro kennex "pro ceramic 90".... kevlar strings last strung in 11/27/91 by the original SLO Tennis warehouse BEFORE it was the tennis warehouse.
It is a bit of history. Dont play with it but feels nice, and the strings have a long life ahead, got dang near new look (plus the fact that kevlar gets near thread and still lasts and lasts)
and i have my abuser maxply dunlop... some newer strings, dunno what they are clear with a weird blue strand inside... "made in england" still visible!
both have orignal leather (i loves leather, and my regular racquet is leather with wilson pro overgrip... mmmm the feel)
no im not trying to write up an advertisment for them but that is what those descriptions sound like ey?

Hi Ranch,
I had one of those bitd, there are many Pro Kennex afficionados here you will find many friends...what you need to do is join us classic racquet nuts, start to spend some free time at the thrift store and ****, eventually you will have over 100 frames and not even know why...then you will be one of us!!!

Hi Plasma,

I think it is Spalding racquet. An aluminium one.

and today I play with my new prostaff tour us version, so stiff and hard to hit than PS85 china.

I love st vincent the most.

Yuth posted a nice display and I realise like any classic collector that I need to find some of these wall mounted display arm things.

Look on all the shopping sites and needle in haystack stuff occurs.

The hardware store looks at me like I'm from another planet - well I am- I got an insane amount of classic rackets and fast running out of space.(and more arriving this week!!).

So please fellow collectors - what are they called? Any UK hardware people supply them?
Naturally checked TW first.

Regards,
Paul.

They are called hanger hooks (exactly as they look) here in the US. One can get them from a store fixture supplier or liquidator if there is one nearby, or online. I imagine it's the same in the UK. Most such items are made to go on slatwall display panels, so you may have to make some modifications to them if you intend to affix them to a regular wall, such as drilling holes in them...
