Did you ever play a match where you decided to mindlessly crush the balls at your opponent?

After a 3 match losing streak, I've decided to go out there and hit. I've pushed way too much and coincidentially got matched up with flat hitters.

I've heard that even if you lose a match you'll feel good if you know that you were hitting with some serious pace.

It's an L5 tournament that I'm going to play in. Btw, the 3 match losing streak came after I took a 4 month hiatus.

I play ALL my matches with that mindset.
Hit as hard as you can control, serves, fore, back, volleys, overheads.
Just more fun, and for me, tis actually more consistent.
Pay attention to upper body attitude.

In a doubles match that i was playing shocking in and should easily have been winning but lost the first set. That is the only time i have ever had to think like that in a match. Worked well with full poly.

Many people seem to play like that when they're hurt. I know I've done that. It all also depends on how you're playing that day. If you can get out in the warmup and hit as hard as you can and keep it in, you'll feel better about it in the match. But yeah, I've done it.

and what do you know? I won my 1st round match. I still was too much of a pusher this match.

My next opponent is a 1 star player.

Yes, especially if I'm facing breakpoint or down a break or something.
