hey, guys i was woondering if anyone knew how to get on the zonos team???

What is a zonos team?

iam not all to sure from what i know i guess its just a group of people for jr tennis that represent the area that u play in or w/e and go play as a team somewhere so iam just wondering how u get on that team

you mean zonals? you have to be highly ranked in your section and get invited

ya it depends. what section r u from?? socal sends 4 teams most sections send 1 or 2. its 6 players per team

Zonals changes names to National Team, in the 18s (f/k/a Jr. Davis Cup)

Either way, you need to be high ranked in your section AND endorsed, after the Summer Sectional (June). Each section is different. Last Summer, for some reason, our section's #1 & #2 guys didn't want to go. So the team we sent sent deep down the list. I think they send 6, with a coach & no parents.

I think you may want to pick up your USTA Section book- And look under the Junior Development Program portion.
OR
Look for the NAME and NUMBER of your USTA section's representative (in the front of the book) call or EMAIL them and they will tell you.

The dates all depend on which group of Sections are in your tournament.
The number of teams is pretty much determinded by the number of players in a section- So, Southern California sends a good number of teams because of the number of players they have.

The Teams So. Cal. plays usually would send one team (boys and girls) each- Intermountain, Hawaii, Southwest, etc.
In the smaller sections, @ the top 5(?) go to Intersectionals- and the next @ 6(?) go to Zonals.
