IMO I dont think he is a 6.0 I think you are on the money with 4.5 or/maybe 5.0.
But... tough to tell when just watching a quick sample of him hitting. Match play tells much more to me than strokes do.

Results speak volumes at the higher levels of the game. If you think you can always visually tell the difference between 5.0 and 6.0 then there is a good chance that you haven't studied the ratings system thoroughly enough.

I wouldn't say he's a 6.0, he looks like a 5.0- low/mid 5.5.

Don't judge a book by it's cover though. He's only hit a few shots to be fair. If we saw him play a match and some tournament results then yes, we would see.

I'm not getting into putting him in a category, but he has really lazy feet! Especially with his forehand volley!

There was already an earlier discussion with this video. I will not bother to search. From the top of my head, I recall the argument to go like this:

1) he does not look like federer - cannot be a 6.0

2) sick drop drop volley - he must have skills

Me - I think there are skills associated with levels up to 5.0. I cannot tell a 5.5 player from 7.0 player based on a short video, because they are open level players. Once you are at 6.0 rating and above there are objective measures (national ranking, professional wins, ITF/ATP ranking, etc.) Would you really be shocked if you learned this player had a national ranking, like he was a top 20 in Canada?

Easy 5.0 and above groundies.
His volleys need work, lots.
He is serving casually, so who would know.
He watch's the ball well, he's in balance, so only tourament results can tell if he's 5.0 or 6.0, or something in between.
