I had the pleasure of playing against him in a club tournament a couple of years ago. I know he is the UK's most successful Davis Cup player and had a match point in a USO semi final back in the 60s. He won Wimbledon as a junior and reached the QF there four times as an adult.

Does anyone have more info?

Obviously the weakest part of him was his hair. He was sort of the Virginia Wade of the 60s: always thrilling the crowd in the first week of Wimbledon with hairraising five-set matches, escapes or tragic losses. For instance, he gave Wilhelm Bungert his hardest five-set match, when Bungert reached the Wim final in 1967. But he had his big moments too, he upset either Emerson or Fraser at Wim, when they were in their prime years.
