Well, I haven't bought a Wilson racquet since I was a teen, so I don't know much about Wilson racquets. Anyways, I saw this cheap racquet at H-bird's website yesterday and reminded me that I've seen something similar at local Wal-mart. I stopped by today to pick up some cheap tennis balls and noticed it's the same one from H-bird's website.

Since it's only $18, I decided to pick up this "toy" just for fun. Then I noticed this different stringing style. The main starts at the throat, which is normal, then I noticed at the head it was cross as below...

A few good things though, they do lock the bumpers on both sides...

But this is a cheap racquet, where the rivet is showing...

90% of the time wal-mart racquets are usually given nylon strings.

Ha. Nice. It looks better than the new Prince racquets. Plus it's Titanium, so it must be awesome.

That...had nothing to do with what I was talking about, lol.

Anyways, I looked closely the stringing patterns this morning. It's around the world...

It's fake leather grip and very thin, can't imagine to be good or cost anything at all.

And this is a "toy", so never plan to take it to the courts anyway...haha...

I've read on these boards that a lot of the mass market cheap racquets are strung in factory situations on pneumatic machines and they double pull strings. I can imagine that the first pull was both center mains from and they just overlap them like that due to the way they start it off.

I have no idea if that's true or not, I can just envision such a scenario.
