I would choose a soft synt. gut to soften up the stringbed. Like forten Sweet or OG sheep.

yes cyber power is a poly string however it is a very POWERFUL poly string. if you like full poly string jobs you can try it out with the hurricane. what do you usually use?

these are good as well as Rip Control. in addition they are low powered to help tame CB if that's what u want.

Well, I've been mixing it w/ Natural Gut in some of my customer's rackets, putting the Gut in the mains & Cyber Power/Blue in the crosses.

Considering if you buy a reel of it, Cyber Power/Blue comes to ~ $4.50 a pack. With BDE or Tonic + running ~ $25, you'd be paying under $15 per string job for a damn good setup.

i'm using it with PSGD on the crosses. not a very good choice but it's cheap. i would recommend OG sheep. it's cheap too!

Since CP is considered a softer poly I hybrid that with PSGD and it firms up the stringbed a little resulting in lots of spin. I'm a huge fan of Forten Sweet too as a cross.

While Cyber Power is a pretty powerful string, It also has very good feel and pretty good control. I love it.

It also has better tension maintenance than CF IMO

My all time favorite synthetic cross with any poly is LF Tour. OGM works extremely well also.

Have you tried a full set of CP (now called Cyber Blue)? This is a wonderful string to use all by itself. You could also try a thinner gauge of CF in the crosses, but I'm more of a fan of a full set of CB. I would stay away from the Pro Hurricane because it will lose tension much faster than the CB.

If you are going to use a synthetic, I would stay away from a multi and use a very crisp string like LF Tour, PSGD, etc. Quite frankly, you would be hard pressed to tell a significant difference with any synthetic you put in the crosses.

I would try the full set first and then move on from there.

One of my 2 all time favorite combo's is Cyber Power 17g (now Cyber Blue) with Spiral Flex 16g crosses with the crosses 2lb. higher tension than the mains. It just works.

Haven't tried CF yet but the tension maintenance is as good as SPPP. It's an awesome string, can't believe it isn't really talked about much on these forums.

no need to cross it, its beautiful as a full set up. If you want more control, string it up 3 or so pounds.

So you would string the OG sheep a few pounds tighter for more control or whatever? I'm always confused about it. What if you strung CF at 56 mains, OG Sheep at 59 crosses? What are the benefits? And what if you switched the numbers around?
