When hitting a 1HBH, am I supposed to transfer weight to my front foot AS I hit the ball or before. When I hit my 1HBH, i step w my front foot, transfer my weight to it and hit the ball. Am I doing this wrong o.O

Transfer your weight forward just a little bit before you make contact with the ball. You want the weight coming forward as you make contact.

The time that the ball hits and leaves your strings is just a fraction of a second, so trying to move forward as you hit the ball may result in you getting pushed around or hitting the ball late.

And remember to exhale as you do this to add even more power.

...and don't forget chin down, chest out, arm straight, knees bent... oh and don't forget to hit the ball.

As a serve and volleyer, do my abc's mean Always Be Closing? As in... the net?

More coffee, please!!!

Compared with my forehand which feels as if my weight is transferring as I swing, my 1hbh works better if I get onto my front foot just before I swing so that I can get out after the ball.
