Hi all,

I struggle hitting low, paceless shots, and so I find that wall practice provides almost exactly the kind of shot that I hate to hit. Please comment/critique.

A couple of things:

1. Am I using too much arm on my forehand?

2. Is there really any way to end the point against the wall gracefully, short of lobbing it and bringing out the fistpumps?

After a while you get the sense of what would be a winner in a ralley. Mostly inside out forehands, short crosscourt, and big down the line backhands.

Nah, I think OP was right and lobbing the wall is the way to go - how else are you gonna get the ball past the wall...

You can't beat the wall - its the true G.O.A.T

(especially if its indoors, no chance).

Naw its easy, You either hit it on an angle so after it hits the wall it goes out, Or you hit it so hard that the ball goes long.
