when did Wilson debut their PWS? I have seen early riveted versions
on graphite (ultra)and aluminum (Triumph)

Anyone know when and what racquet PWS first occured?

As far I can remember, the black Wilson Ultra with PWS in 1980 or 1981. The PWS is not integrated into the frame, but a piece of metal or aluminum attached at 9 and 3 o'clock
This was followed by Ultra 2 standard size.

Later the ultra2 mid has the PWS integrated into the frame.

There was also a really old metal Wilson with PWS... Triumph?

Yes... the Wilson Triumph aluminum racquet had a metal PWS system that was visible and inside the frame (near the strings at 3/9 o'clock).

It resembled the metal Sting near the throat... but was not a snowshoe racquet, like the original Sting.
