Hi friends Im writing from Poland - East Europe. I'm 46 years still strong (3 time a week 1,5 h tennis, next 3 days body building). Tennis is may new big hobby (Im plying tennis about just 2 years). Because Im working very hardly, with professional trainer, now Im 3,5 now. My game is power (I'm not a large guy 1,70 m) and my serve is hard also. I prefer a baseline game, with much spin and slice hitting. My question is about choice of racquet. My first racquet was Babolat Power Zylon completely mistake (to much power and any control). Next I had tested all (really) Head racquets. Intelligent series: not good for me wrist pine problems. Liquid is much better, but to much power and arms pine also (specially radical mp) : only Prestige MidPlus is like my own hand. Now Im using this racquet with alubanger string. My problem is probably in my age. First hour playing with Prestige I hit super, but when Im more tide I make too much mistake. Presumably that is your advice to a Prestige MidPlus like alternative for me? Maybe 100 sq. head size with less weight will be better for me? Some a more maneuverable racquet specially when play is under pressure, and with more spin potential.

Powodzenia z twoja gra. Jestem ciekawy w jakim miescie grasz.

I would try the Yonex RDX 500 MidPlus. It is the same head size but it is very slightly less heavy and the swingweight is a little less. And it has really good spin potential.

Czesc, dzieki za odpowiedz. Jestem z Katowic - Slask.

maybe Head Prestige tour 660 cm will be an ideal choice?

Serge46 - I'm not a racquet guru, but I notice you say you can play the first hour really well, but the next 1/2 hour you have consistency problems. I'd suggest that maybe it's not a problem with your racquet, but with your fitness or diet. For whatever reason, sounds to me like you're running out of gas.

I'm at 50 year old myself, and I know that I play better after a good pre-match meal and plenty of gator-ade.

I would guess , it might be a stamina problem. I can play about 1h 30min (I'm 30 years old) and then my tennis goes down. Once I start hitting badly, I call a break.
