List is a joke without the SUPER RD TOUR!

Another honourable mention for the R22!

I got a pair of MP Tour 1 mids a while back and have been noodling with them here and there. Rather plush from the baseline, but not as headlight as I prefer, so I'll submit my findings after I plop some lead on the handle of one of them.

I'm not awestruck with these yet, but the build quality seems to be up to the typical high standard that has earned Yonex so much praise.

OK, you guys want to go way back with the R-22 and SRD Tour 90 that's cool. I have not had the chance to hit with either frame but I have heard they are rock solid. The R-22 is flexible while the SRD Tour 90 is stiff and great for the serve and volleyer. I remember Adres Gomez and Natalia Zvereva using the R-22 frame. Pat Cash used the R-50 after switching from Prince and Pam Shriver used the R-24 until the end of her career. I never was able to dig the RQ-180 or RQ-150. I have owned the RD Ti-70 88 and 98, MP Tour 90, RDX500 90, and RDS001 2006 version. I currently use the RDS001 90 2006 because it is balanced perfectly. It could use just a tad more weight overall for stability.

I really liked the RDX 500 mid. It was the best mid sized frame that I have hit with since my old Wimbledon 88. Soft, great control, and very maneuverable. Great stick.

Yonex RDS 001 Mid...
But then again ... it's the only Yonex mid I ever tried. Great frame though ...

I have a nice RQ-90 in the For Sale section (cheap)... which is also a very sweet mid.

I've played the RDX500 and both the RDS-001's... just recently acquired the RDiS100 93" and I have to say it is IMO the best playing and feeling Mid that Yonex has produced. Not a dead area in the stringbed at all, great power and control and you really get good ball feedback.

Agreed. There is only one decent mid: R22. Everything after the R-series has been an exercise in futility for Yonex. They should re-introduce it with a bumper...I would buy 5 immediately.

Both are great sticks!

(By the way, I have 2 of the former and 1 of the latter for sale if anyone is interested, all pretty nice, and all posted in classifieds. Only selling for funds for more K95 6.1 18x20s... plus a SWEET Yonex duffle bag)

The best?
SRD 90 - this was one the BEST and my favourite (still have extra grommets...)
RD Ti 88 - than i switched to this (it was a mistake, toooo much strings)
MP Tour 1 - my second favorite Yonex, than I give up on Yonexes

I still have the RDiS 100 on my demo list. I have demoed the RQis Tour which I really liked the feel and flex.

Demo it ASAP... AWESOME frame. I ditched my RDS-001's, K90's, and PS Tour 90's immediately for it. Terrific feel, control, weight and balance.

Control and pace from serves are incredible - best serving yonex I've ever hit (including the R22 and RDX500). FH and BH groundstrokes have great feel, access to spin, pace and depth are all there for the asking. At the net, well... very solid and manueverable with all the feel and touch you'll want/need.

I now have 3 in my bag... all other frames are back hanging on the wall.
