I put some led at 3 and 9 o'clock on my racquet, (Microgel extreme teflon), and liked the higher twist weight but found it to head heavy and heavy overall. How much lead should I put on my racquet and where if I want a higher twist weight thats noticeable but doesn't make the ballance differ and weight isn't above 11.6 ounces? (I put about 6 to 8 grams on before..

Thanks,

Roddickslammer

counterbalance it with some lead in the handle and you should be fine.

^^ exactly, you should preferably counterbalance unless you want more head heavy.

and OMG 16.7 oz...how do you do it?

To the OP, my somewhat-educated guess is that if you'd rather not change the balance much/make it head-heavy, youu may be better off putting a bit of lead at 6:00.

Putting the weight at 6 won't help him increase the twistweight like he wants, though.

I second the opinion of adding some in the handle, down about 4 inches from the bottom (where your first knuckle usually is) to counterbalance the weight. Give it a try, before you tell yourself it'll be too heavy overall. Just try it.

You'll like it. That is about how much mine weighs. My lead is in the handle. No other mods other than a wilson pro overgrip.
