View Full Version : Are one of my rackets fake?

I have two Wilson K6.1 95's and their TM's and R's are mixed up and one is even in a different place. Otherwise, the rackets are almost exactly the same.

can you post some pics?

I opened a thread about this recently and it appears that this is pretty normal depending on which factory the racquets came out of. I own 2 different 6.1's and they are marked differently and have different markings all over the place, including the TM and "R". Both are the right weight and balance and play identical so I think they are legit. IF you do a search by my username you'll get a lot of info in a post I opened a few weeks ago. They are probably legit, I have two genuine matched K95 16x18 and one has R and the other has TM. If you are concerned, I'd pop open the butt cap and take a look inside, just take a small screw driver and pop open the Wilson logo area and if it looks cheap, poorly constructed, and asymmetrical, inside its fake.

I would say fake, but, I have also seen same rackets with slight differences, because of the year it came out. maybe you have a 2005 model and a 2007 model.
