View Full Version : Ratting Myself Out (Before Susan Does)

I objected to VamosRafa post #76 in the "Women: Stand Up and Speak Up!!!!" thread.
I said: "I object strongly to this intimidating and threatening post. I hate to see TW's board be the site of threats of tabloid-style personal attacks. Susan has gone megalomania on us!!!"
I had to get that out in case Susan's investigative prowess exposed me. Now she can't threaten me with that.

That is a good idea. If any of you have 'dirty laundry' say it now before VR threatens you. I have been watching that thread and have seen what she has been doing and I am really thinking about getting myself back in that thread. But then if I did that I might have someone mad at me but it is getting really annoying so what do I really care? Oh heck, I will tell her something.

At first, she was kind of amusing. Then, she was kind of annoying. Now, it's just....creepy.

I think it's great, the wm for nadal threatening the wm for gambill. And Phil just piling on. If the tour players had this much personality Davis Cup would be on ABC!
The only thing better than Phil pummeling Susan in that thread is when Phil pummeled edge over the edge in the demented eva thread a while back. I need to look that up and post that for the newbs...kind of a hazing if you will.

Thank you for deleting the thread. I am sorry that I took any part in that.
Hmm...
Well, I didn't want it deleted (especially not before I printed the whole thing up to prove my side of the story). I really wanted it to stay there, in all its ugly glory, to be the irrefutable piece of evidence that it was.
Thanks to Datacipher and the others who spoke up after the infamous post #76. I appreciate it. Do I need to clear up the 'dirty laundry' accusation against me? I don't have any, at all, but I can expound on that if anyone really wants/needs to hear it.

Thanks, Chris. I appreciate this board and TW's efforts very much and I can see the vast majority here do, also.
Senator Jay Bullworth
03-08-2005, 12:20 PM
Somewhere, in an empty refrigerator cardboard container located under an overpass of I-87, the Senator emerges (in the midst of a N.Y. blizzard) to rouse his aide-de-camp Jerome (esteemed member of the TW hip-hop community):
Senator Jay Bullworth: "Jerome, gas up the Coupe de Ville, it's time Jerome, it's been awhile but.....it's time!....it's TW 'Board' Time!!"
Jerome (with a grin on his face): "Well Halleluiah already!! 'Bout time, ya boozin' womanizer!"
Easy Susie, you're woozy Susie
When pickin' enemies you ain't choosy
Vamos light, Vamos not bright
Which "man-fight" Vamos will see the light?
So the infamous post by Vamos Raffa
Gets buried like a cold, stiff Jimmy Hoffa
The daffy Raffy Lady may indeed doth protest
But it ain't rooted in logic; it's run-o'-the-mill, runnaway P.M.S.
Now, as my man Jerome will surely attest
Most, if not all, my posts are in jest
But my child bride, or should I say: my bride of child,
Next time temper yo' words, your motives run wild.
"Now healthy debate is fine--Personal attacks are not!"
The boys may've crossed da line, but Sue wasn't a snot?!
I don't incubate on behalf of pros just outta the cradle
If Susie were a nurse, she'd teach the birthing course: "Neo-Nadal"
So "the thread in question" has now been deleted,
The cow, she has moo-ed, and the "we're sorry TW Staff!" sheep have all bleated,
And the braying donkey Raffa still scowls, while his Raffa Mama growls
Girls and boys here are pals; Ms. Vamos: throw in the towel.
Now it is gone, infamous post number seventy six
And we're left thumb-twiddlin' and weighing the risks
Of restarting a fire -- stave the crave of my chops-bustin' fix
Susan let's start another fire; let's (you and I) start rubbin' sticks.
You may be a lawyer, but I can handle your costs
Now, I may not be a lawyer, but I can probably get you off *
Here's some cost-free advice: TO DISARM IS TO CHARM
And when push, Sue, comes to shove, what's left but love...love...love?
Making do with what I always know, and making out whenever in doubt, and never "Ratting Myself Out" because remember: a lout never pouts, I am, lovingly and forever yours,
Senator Jay Bullworth

maybe i'm jumping to conclusions, i've suspected for awhile, and then this in a thread titled "ratting myself out," but is it possible for sen. jay bullworth to be residing in dedan's penthouse? both clever in the same respect, and the sen. knows alot about current events on the board (braying donkey, eh?) for only 20 posts. maybe i'm wrong, not trying to be a foil, but it seems quite the coincidence. either that or its "larrhall" boooyakasha!! either way...total respek!

Fee -- No, you don't need to. You shouldn't have to dignify garbage gossip. Consider the source. Just my .002.

Ah, jeez, ya just made me ruin ANOTHER keyboard-I spit coffee on it and dribbled some down my (clean) shirt. Sen., help a constituent out here-pass some funds my way to PAY for this ruined stuff!;-)

Chris TW, Perhaps a reprieve?
Regretably a second post I contributed(?) to the deleted string may have been the tipping point to its demise where I admit to "over-stating" my feelings on the original poster's tactics. Hence my one word post above.
However I wish the TW staff saw fit to resurrect the string prior to that "flashpoint" though it still may require some additional "blue pencilling" of individual posts before mine. If for no other reason than food for thought before posters put "pen to paper" so to speak, (myself included), in this board.
Phil, I agree w/ you that Fee should have not felt compelled to dignify the prior posts with a reply. If it made Fee feel better, great. But it wasn't necessary, to me.
And Chris, thanks for not pulling the trigger on a "ban". Yes, my second post was pretty bad.

Brettolius: Senator Jay Bullworth.....me??! I only wIsH I turn turn a phrase like that lunatic. What I DO get from his (her?) posts is that they are (as the good Senator suggests) mostly in jest. And even the 'tweak' parts seem to "nudge" for the purpose of knocking the caustic vibe down a notch, be it a person and/or a point of contention. I on the other hand have to admit that I can sometimes let my pea-brain get the better of me and then morph into rant mode myself. If this is how the Senator thinks and writes, I can only imagine what his "Baroque" service motion looks like; he'd probably make Karsten Braasch look "vanilla."
Having said that, I'm flattered (whoever you are Sen.) that you quoted my "I'm not a lawyer, but I can probably get you off" line. But, (truth be told), I lifted that line from the pages of that literary classic for the ages: "Gentlemen's Repose: the Life of a Debauched Rock & Roller" by Michael Ruffino.
About the "deleted thread" (infamous post #76 and "beyond"):
I thought that the aforementioned "Men Are Dogs!" thread had withered on the vine and so I forgot about it and left it behind. Darn it! I love a train-wreak as much as the next guy (or girl). Little did I know that THAT "love-in" was still alive and smoldering and that it eventually re-ignited into a maelstorm of mudslinging. Rats!! So it (apparently) came to a head?? Could anyone (without incurring the wrath of the TW Gods) give me the "411" regarding what eventually was said.....or at least the jist of it? Apparently someone (?) went off the deep end and got a little reckless with the tongue. What's the scoop...gossip please.
You know what I got from that thread? 1. Men are dogs; so what else is new? That Cypo still rocks! That Phil is "Senatorial" in his ability to "turn a trick" that involves a phrase himself. And that Noelle is a serene (mature) pleasure to read. And Susan? That maybe Susan could use a comforting arm around her, (un blando, oferta beso en el labios) and a gentle reminder to (once again) dial the name dropping and condescension down a notch or two....or twelve......and I say that Raffa Mama in earnest--no need to get your kiwi-ettes all twisted in knots. Just because someone's a nut doesn't always mean they have to be cracked. (rimshot) And speaking of nuts, ironically you may want to consider coming out of your shell yourself.
The sun's out. Time to rise and shine little girl....

VR implied she had some 'dirt' on Fee and implied she may spread said dirt if Fee didn't fall in line with the oppressed women point of view. Fee responded that she had volunteered at the SJ stop and hugged several players but did nothing inappropriate. A desperate move by VR that backfired.
That being said I hope VR doesn't go away.

No, what VR wrote was too vague. If she had written something specific, damaging and untrue it would be libelous.

Actually she went away before....did all her goodbye to everyone ceremonial thread. Sad to say but I felt somewhat satisfied that she went away. Then she came back.....

I'm guessing -- pure sepculation -- that don has received some late night calls describing schoolyard wedgies as predatory advances. this investigative prowess you speak of is no joke, and, in the extreme, it tends to invent the very object it claims to discover.
The infamous post #76 (sort of)...
"Fee, you don't want to get involved in this thread, gal.
Your name came up quite a bit this weekend with the netheads, no credit to you.
Didn't you drive the ATP players this week, or was it last week? ...."
That was the jist (gist?) of it, after she had edited it a few times. There was a followup post that said her 'dirty laundry' was in Spanish and mine was all in English (a reference to our different websites, I guess.).
I contacted a nethead who said that my name never came up, so that was a lie. I had already posted in the thread a couple of times, so that comment was just stupid. As for my 'dirty laundry' I don't have any, which is clear to anyone who has looked at my website. I'm still a little bit stunned by how that all happened late Monday night, but I'm in Indian Wells for a few days so I can honestly say I am pleasantly distracted.
Take care everyone.

" Fee -Fi-Fo'-Fum, to pary 'chickenhawk' threats is anything but fun."
I was at the SJ event and the only thing I saw that would raise eyebrows was the hillarious sight of this middle-aged woman chasing after some skinny little kid who looked like a cross between Lou Diamond Phillips and a squinty Ali McGraw--all the while the woman kept screaming: "Raffa, your Enfamil!!! You forgot to drink your Enfamil!!! And the little kid (with terror in his eyes) cried as he ran for his life:
"Vayase!! Dejeme en paz Mrs. Pollo-halcon!! Vayase usted loco mujer!"
("Go away! Leave me alone Mrs. Chickenhawk! Go away you crazy woman!")
I wet my pants laughing, to see such a sight, while the dish ran away with the spoon....

Not at all. It's now become an oddity of sorts to me. Perhaps I'll stop by the TW tent today (at 2 pm) and try out one of those new 03 racquets, take out any pent up emotions on a defenseless tennis ball (how's that for a shameless plug?). It will be interesting if I run into VR anywhere on the grounds this weekend. oof, I need breakfast...
