Hi folks,

I'm willing to change my poor 1hbh to a 2hbh that is very much regular when I play it but I have some questions:

- What kind of grip should I take on return serve ?
- Should I put a XL replacement grip in order to feel more confortable ?
- I'm playing with a Radical (LM), isn't it too small a headsize ?

Thanks folks !

I use a radical LM midplus as well. Why would it be too small ??

Also not sure what your level is but im a 4.5 and on my returns I usually have a forehand grip. Usually after a few games I can learn his serve and start reading what side its going.

Im not the the best 1st serve returner but against good servers I usually just give a deep block back.

Personally, I keep my right hand as continental just because I use a modified eastern for forehand and don't have far to shift at all. Plus it's set up for me to quickly add my left on SW for a 2hbh and I'm good to go.

In terms of grip-size you really just need to use what feels comfortable, but a smaller grip-size does have some advantages worth noting.

And finally, I play with the mid-size Prestige line so I'm used to playing with a small headsize and recently I've been thinking of switching it up to a Babolat with a bigger headsize before I start my first college tennis season since I have a game based on power, consistency, and spin especially with my forehand. My backhand is my weakness that is getting better and I think the larger headsize would help me some as well.
