to any "is head replacing" question, the answer is yes. head is the king of replacing frames and inventing bogus technology.

If Head is the king, what does that make Wilson, Prince and Yonex?

wilson is definantly good at it, and they supposedly try to add soem technology, but you cant really complain about that, they turn out to be pretty good frames. only complaint is that there are like 30 ncode racquets, but iguess tis safe to say wilson is moving in that direction. prince with the new powerholes idea, is also moving in the directio nadnt rying new tehnology, regardless of public response, so thats admirable. Yonex on the otehr hand, actaully deisgns new frames. the rdx is a great frame, adn its not like the super rd tour, or the mmuscle power tour frame. it has a totally differnt feel, in my opinion, a better one.

I wait for a Wilson Profile Hammer-Staff stretch, with PWS, Power Holes, Isogrid, Triad system, made of Ncoded Hyper carbon + braided High modulus Graphite/Kevlar, dual taper beam, Isozorb grommets, and Rollers.

Of course they will name it : "The Wilson jack Kramer tradition, 21st century special edition", and they will claim that the racquet provide 95% more control, and 95% more power, and 95% more feel, and 95 % more comfort. No way you can lose a match with that racquet...

Head is the King, but Wilson is the Emperor.

I dunno... I think prince may be able to outdo head in the tech business...

Wouldn't more flex in the head make a racquet less stable? All of these gimmicks are annoying. The LM Radical is a good stick, but what people really need is less "technology" and more old school hard work.

BreakPoint,

'The Jack Hammer' ?

That's it, just what the marketing gurus have been looking for, now that they've exhausted all worthwhile technological changes, - porn names for racquets. Well, I think it'd be a winner LOL.
