Why does Lleyton Hewitt move his feet towards the back of the court when he serves?

Honestly, one of the GTIHES (Greatest threads I have ever seen)

It's so unique and amazing that I don't have an answer, I'm utterly shocked by the picture.

.....Hewitt probably does that so he can get better rotation when he swings.....maybe that's why he injured his hip.....

Hewitt does not move his toes towards the back fence. He moves his heels towards the net. Get it?

It's because he wants to be foot faulted several times so he can ***** about the line judge and be labeled a racist.

In actuality it's probably just a bad habit, or a technique that has a nasty side-effect.

I think what the OP is asking is, why are his toes pointing to the back fence?

that technique is y lleyton hewitt gets called 4 foot-faults so much. it also allows u 2 get more shoulder and hip rotation from his stance ala Pete Sampras, whereas guys like mcenroe have a stance parallel 2 the baseline so he already has his back facing his opponent
