I did it a few years ago starting from 0-0 game score. It was incredibly satisfying for me and frustrating for my opponent.

Ever aced somebody 4 times in a row to win a game?

Just yesterday. He was a horrible returner and my serve was just on. I usually go for body serves though so I get more unreturned serves then aces in matches.

Would love to do that sometime. The most I have done is three. Then a ball from the adjacent court came in... that is my official excuse anyway.

I've gotten up to 40-0 on 3 aces a few times. It's just so tough to close the deal and get that fourth one!

NOPE.. and I do not remember serving 2 aces in a row either. :)

On most first and second serves, I serve and volley using topspin serves to the backhand. I hit a flat or slice serve maybe 1-2 times a set, and these are my only chances to ace anyone.

No, I've had two aces in a row several times but I can't seem to do better than that. I think I've def. had games where I shot an ace or two and the other serves were nonreturnables.

Sure, I have also lost games because I double faulted 4 times.

I really don't care about aces, actually I get more pleasure from hitting unreturnables.

A bunch of times I was down 0-40 on my 2nd serve and came back to win the game by hitting some combination of 5 aces and unreturnables.

If you play long enough, and play enough matches, lots of weird stuff happens.

Saving 0-40 games is always a nice feeling.

Unfortunately I cough up enough 40-0 games to even it out :)

In doubles yesterday, 3 really good strong first serve aces in a row to 40-0, then 3 horrible double faults in a row, then 2 really good aces in a row. Was quite strange. My first serve was incredibly on the entire match, but when I missed it, it was like I forgot how to hit a normal second serve entirely.

Let's not mention those...:)

A few weeks ago I was playing Doubles and my partner went an entire game hitting only faults
(including some double-faults) and aces (including some second serve aces).

Thinking back, I can't remember if we won or lost that game (but I'm betting we lost).

In the dusty recesses of my memory, i think i served one perfect game by serving four aces in one game in a doubles match back on my high school team. we are talking about 28 years ago. I have served more than two aces in one game lately, but they are usually mutliple deuce games, and one of the returners is just not "seeing" my serves well enough.

Closest I ever came was 3 aces (one of which was a 2nd serve!) and an unreturnable that just touched the tip of his frame (so close!), but that was against a relative beginner. I've had a number of service games where I didn't have to play a point (UR/ace combos), but nothing ever like that one.

My perfect service game ended with a 2nd serve ace. I remember being disappointed because after 3 straight aces, I missed my first serve by an inch for the 4th ace. Then I used my kicker in the ad court and the guy leaned over towards his backhand side while I went down the middle.

I try not to dwell too much on my lucky success, rather focus on my failures due to lack of skill, not luck of the opponent.
3 consecutive aces quite often, but also losing service games at 15 balances out all the good.
Kinda like, I don't list the players I happen to win against. I DO list the players I LOSE to......

I am surprised at the poll result (so many "yes"...)

Well the best I did so far was 3 aces plus 1 unreturnable serve. But I was playing against a guy who really sucks (1.5?), and I think one of my serve was out and he didn't call it.

I pulled it off during tryouts for my highschool team my first year against I think my 3rd opponent; first game of the match too.

Have I done it since then in the last 25 years? No.

4 unreturned serves or a mix of aces: yes. All 4 being aces, no.

I came two double faults from a golden set once.

And it was against a TW poster.

That is pretty impressive. I played a set with a guy about 3 months ago who only won 1 point the first 5 games. His serve skipped off the line causing me to hit it in the net. I was in the zone and he was way out of it!

Ya my serve was on fire!

Too bad it can't be that good all the time but my serve is a weapon against most wins alot of free points. :D

I've never aced 4 times in a row, but I've had an opponent double fault every serve in a game - a couple of times.
