Kipling was a poet and wrote the poem. Federer is a tennis player and read the poem very well.

I believe him and rafa did this together and rafa read the other verse the video does not show it though because it was made to emphasize federer..now by me revealing this be ready for swarms of trolls attack this poor youtube person attempting to simply pay tribute to roger lol

Yeah, that's probably most people's favorite part of the poem.

Nadal read that part, probably because he might not be understood if he had read the more obscure lines.

They played it at the start of the programme, and then again just before they came out after the last rain delay... it makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck watching it now, but back then it was something really special.

It made the hairs on my neck stand as well.
