Just wondering what you guys think. I found that the ones on the nCode npro surge, some new kind of grip, forgot what its called is really nice right off the bat. I wouldn't mind not having an overgrip on it even though I usually put an overgrip on the stock grip. Anyone know what its called?

You mean Micro Dry? Wilson has a line of replacement grips called Micro Dry. They do have a nice feel and I am using one without an overgrip at the moment. We'll see how they'll perform in the hot and humid conditions of Atlanta in summer.

I like the Wilson Contour. It has ridges which give me a good feel for the racquet. I do not play with an overgrip. I use a Rosin Bag at change-overs.

I'd say the older batch of Wilson Prostaff 85's, they came with Fairway leather grips.

I like the Tour grip that came on my Tour 10 racquets.

Head Comfortac Traction that came originally with the i.Radical. It is by far my favorite replacement grip.

The nSix-One 95 I demoed came with "Micro Dry Feel" grip (not overgrip). It is very nice!!! I'm going to switch to this grip after my own runs out.

Leather is what I use whether stock or replacement. If its too hot or humid then I will use a tournagrip overgrip.

The old Wilson's with Fairway leather were my favourite grips, even if I didnt like the racquets, and second would be the leather grips on old Head Prestige frames. Dont know what it is about the Prince leather grips but they're rubbish compared to the Fairway, Head or even the Dunlop.
Anyone tried Volkl leather grips?

Volkl leather grips are wider and thinner. Their red dye/coloring tend to run as your hand sweats. Micro Dry is only available as a replacement grip.

I used Fairways for years, and they are the best grip, but hard to find. The Gamma leather is a nice grip; it is thick and has two-way tape on the back.
Synthetic grips seems to shrink and wear out after a month play plus the leather adds a little more weight to the racket and gives you a solid feel.
