Anyone know what shoes murray is using at Monte Carlo? They kinda look like vapor VI's but I couldn't really recognize them with all the clay on them. Can anyone confirm?

The real question is why? Murray plays in Adidas Barricades on hard courts. At Wimbledon last year he wore Nike for a specific reason - many players did not get enough grip on grass with their Adidas shoes and I read somewhere that Murray had "an arrangement" with Adidas which allowed him to switch for Wimbledon (only). Meanwhile for clay the Adidas CC Feather is widely recognized as a superior shoe, certainly none of the players seem to be complaining about grip problems with Adidas shoes on clay -- so why is Murray wearing Nike on clay this year? Did he just sign a new contract with Nike?

I'm sorry, but everything you wrote is false, if not, please provide a source.

Now, to get the facts straight, saying many players did not grip the grass with their Adidas shoes is a lie, the ONLY person who switched shoes was Djokovic, but he still slipped the same amount with Nike as with Adidas. FYI, Murray does not have any shoe contract and is free to wear whatever he wants. And who says the CC Feather is widely recongnized as a superior shoe, tell that to Fed and Nadal.

I don't want to get into an argument of what shoe is better than this or that, but please don't provide false made up information.

I don't think so.

You are apparently right about Murray not being under contract for shoes:

Wow, you have no credible source what so ever. Did you even read your own thread you posted? There was no source, just another poster writing what they saw. Heck, the OP even only mentioned Murray and Djokovic not one else. There was no article about Adidas and slipping.

And nice, you posted a TW link, they always have positive summaries, what do you want them to say, not popular with the tour? please provide a real source.

Murray has been wearing Vapor V's for practice at Wimbledon. Looks like they tried to paint some stripes on them, but crappy PJ. Sorry for the image, but I'm sure better pics will show up soon.

Heard lots of athletes experienced slipping with the adidas grass court shoes so they are moving to Nike. They've lost Djokovic and now Murray...

This has no sources, him "hearing" is different than reading an actual article. The thread is basically as credible as Fedace.

Is this credible enough then?

The one thing you are right about is that the Adidas "arrangement" was with Djokovic, not Murray.

Having said that, I stand by my original observation that it is interesting that Murray would switch from Adidas to Nike on clay.

So to get away from your focus on bashing everyone in sight, does anyone have thoughts about Murray's apparent preference for Nike Vapor 6 over the Adidas CC Feather?

You know what you are a waste of time, you really don't get it.

I said you're post were full of lies and you just showed it yourself. You keep trying to say many players had a slipping problem with Adidas on grass when all the links you provided were about Djokovic.

You said you read Murray had "an arrangement" which is obviously false because he has no shoe contract (although you admit to being wrong to that).

You say Adidas CC is the superior shoe on clay when the only link you provided is a TW link, keep in mind, they say Nadal uses an APDC, Roddick uses a PDC, and blah blah uses this or that.

I don't understand what your trying to defend since you yourself have provided things that backs up none of your claims.

he actually switched shoes at the beginning of the match, so he had the adidas and the nike in his bag. even the commentators mentioned it.
