I dont understand the "appreciation people have for head calfskin leather I have a bunch and can't stand them as slick as a wet coke bottle right away the 1st time you use them. I use fairway, TW brand & wislon; wilson is just okay.

a good leather grip must deliver these qualities : Plush & Porous and these qualities run in tandem, that is the open pore of the leather grip absorb sweat & the "plush" feature is comfort and the Tennis Warehouse grip delivers this at a 15th bthe the price for a fairway grip.

where can you buy the head calfskin grips. the only place ive seen them is straight from the head pro room on racquets. my coach has them on his pjd fxp pc600s. they feel great.

I've been using the TW brand on my prestiges and they've been good, especially the 1.3mm ones because they retain the feel of the bevels more than the 1.5mm. I like the firmness and thinness of Head Calfskin, but it was a little slick.

TW is carrying Head leather grips now. If anyone out there has tried these, I'd be curious how they compare to Head Calfskin.
