The last one-handed left-handed slam winners were Petr Korda winning the Australian in 1998 and Muster winning the French in 1995.

Interesting that there are so few lefty one-handers winning slams since McEnroe. Would they have the same problems with righty-forehand to lefty-backhand as Federer does with Nadal? That wouldn't matter as much with serve-and-volleyers. In those days being a lefty was considered an advantage (esp. on the serve to set up the volley). Is it a disadvantage now with baseline play predominating?

its obviously not that big of an advantage, if it was it would be like baseball where about half of the players are lefties, in tennis its about one out of ten, just about the same as life, so although its an advantage in some ways in others it is a disadvantage, overall its neither
