Hey, I am thinking of doing a hybrid, can anyone help me out?
I have these 4 strings, which ones would work together to make a good hybrid.

1) Pro Red Line II 17G
2) KLiP Pro Singles VENOM 17G
3) Gamma Asterisk 16G
4) Prince Synthetic Gut w/ Duraflex

Hi,
I think Pro Red Line II (Mains) with PSGD (Crosses) is a very good combo.

My brother is using this combo in his O3 Tour and it works really good.

Hey, how's it going?

Try the PLII with a PSGD cross, as mentioned above! The PLII is a touch soft and the Prince crispness will help balance out the combo.

What tension should I string the mains at and the crosses at?
Do I string them the same?

Look for posts by member PED, he has a MGPPro and uses PLII. Though i believe he uses a full job set up... but from what i recall he strings in the mid 50's (54, 55or 56)...
