Is the 5g a frame played by pros, past or present? It doesn't seem to be a traditional players frame, but since it seems to enjoy a decent following amongst better players, maybe it's been called up to the big leagues a time or two. Does anyone know?

I might be wrong but it looked like Nadal's opponent today (Seppi?) was using one.

That's funny - It was the the Nadal/Seppi match got me thinking about it!

Andreas Seppi is NOT playing a PK 5 Ionic...his racquet is actually a Prestige Classic XL with adapted PK grommets and PJ..the same one he was playing since he was a junior...

Hey Eiffel59, I was wondering where you got that info from?

I'm not being skeptical of your comments, but just curious that's all.

Thanks.

Pro Kennex Italy is based less than 2 km from my shop in Brescia, Italy...i've seen (and sometimes strung) Seppi's sticks so many times...the only difference is in the PK Redondo Type C93 grommets instead of the original CAP...plus a generous amount of lead (under the head guard and outside) to match the original weight...

To me the 2 racquets seem different:

To me Seppi's racquet is a Redondo PJ custom length as it has been said many times.

I've got the chance to see that racquet very close while Seppi was hitting with David Ferrer (practice session) in Miami and definitely is not a PK. The racquet looks like a Prestige to me.
