Isn't that a too bit early for a biography for a 22 y.o. guy? (well almost 23).
Why would these mofos write a book about someone when his story and his career isn't over yet?

Honestly, I don't care about his book. He's nice and all, but I bet it doesn't make a particularly interesting read.

I wouldn't :D. There's plenty of things I want to do if they would be the last things I do, and reading that certainly wouldn't even be on my list ;)

From a contents point of view yes, is way too early. From a commercial point of view, they have to ride the top of the wave of Nadal's popularity, so now is the time. And they pave the way for the second updated edition in two years. And so on.

The reviews on amazon don't look too good. Doesn't look like Nadal co-operated to make this, lots of people are complaining that this book is mostly stats and facts. Make sense, I can't imagine Nadal having that kind of time at the moment.

Dutch-Guy

^^^ Yeah Nadal didn't co-operated to make that book.

It's a biography,not an autobiography.

It's too early. I'll read it if it actually involves Nadal's input. The author seems to spew out three to four biographies a year and none of them are well reviewed...

too earl! and he's writing a memoir too.
I want him to write a heartfelt biography when he's career is over. At this point what is he going to write that we haven't read in articles. I doubt he's going to go into details about his off court life at this point.

I thought you were taking about his upcoming book.

Nadal reportedly set to pen memoir (http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default.asp?page=2009\05\13\story_13-5-2009_pg2_21)

NEW YORK: World number one Rafael Nadal, the 22-year-old Spaniard who has won six Grand Slam tennis titles, might be on the verge of writing a book about his career, Crain’s New York Business reported. The report said literary agent Larry Kirshbaum has been speaking with publishers about a book from Nadal, an Olympic champion who has overtaken Swiss star Roger Federer for the top spot in the global tennis rankings. An Andre Agassi autobiography to hit book stores in November prompted Knopf publishers to pay the retired US tennis legend $5 million in 2007, according to the report. afp

Believe me hes not going to waste any time doing anything extra that diverts his attention away from his tennis. Who knows, the book may not be finished until the end of Nadal's career. But they could be making the book deal now so they can start gathering insight from Nadal and his crew while it's fresh.

At this point they should just release a special dvd with his FO, WImbledon, and OLympic wins.
