I am really amazed by the way Mauresmo was playing in the match against Dementieva in Madrid. The serving, backhand are so strong and you just gotta love her net play.

What do y'all think?

Every one has a chance at the French for the women, so its not impossible. But she always seems to go out early in France even when shes favored. Shes defineltly not a favorite but probably 50-1 odds. I give her a 5% chance.

well. she would have a lot more pressure at the FO since it's a grand slam tournament and she's a french woman. and we all have seen what pressure would do to even the very best wta players.

I like Mauresmo's tennis. I hope she will get back in top 10. And yes, she has a good chance to win RG.

Yeah like any other player, she stands a chance to win FO.But based on yesterday's match i'd say NO.Her game is still shaky.

The fans on her website say that a lot of her issues are mental. I'm sure if she can get over that block she'd have a chance.:)

Amelie is one of my faves. so i hope she goes deep at RG. no one else in the WTA I enjoy watching the most than Amelie...I hope she brings her "A" game there this year.

I think this is poor post. Fans of Mauresmo seem to have a lot of false hope. She has not even been in the mix of players that can win bigger tournaments in the last 2 years so this discussion is simply out of the blue.
Mathematically she has a chance since she is one of the 128 players, realistically ZERO

A mentally strong 5.0 woman has a chance to win this year's FO if she's hangs around long enough for her opponent to mentally crumble- which she will.

She beat Dementieva in three sets yesterday....so I guess she's still good enough to have a chance....
