What is he doing? Playing back to back tournaments and then playing singles AND doubles in the tournaments! He is going to exhaust himself before the FO.

Unless this is some conditioning thing his new trainer has suggested, I am kinda worried !

After being crushed in two sets, he'll have a reason to retire a game away from being defeated in the 3rd set, against Nadal at this year's FO.

Of course he will be "in control of" that match.

That point is something I'd been considering, it seems to coincide with him getting the new fitness coach. Perhaps more match play, particularly where some of it isn't serious, is seen as a way to boost his physical and mental conditioning *shrug*
