finally got some new videos, this is me playing the #1 seed for 3rd singles during the season, i lost 2-6, 6-4, 4-6. we will probably play again in states next week.

Seems you're tall now, so why not hit harder, using more racket speed, and go for winners and forcing shots, rather than allow the opponent into the point.
Your serve is abbreviated, not a bad thing for your size, but you lose out on lots of power and speed potential.
Your shots are also more about getting the ball back than about hitting forcing shots, so maybe you should work there also.
But you WILL get good, given some time and more experience in matches.
However, you opponent looks pretty good, so maybe that's why you're forced to retrieve and play conservatively.

Yeah, I agree, your opponent shouldn't have time to setup and rip the return on your first serve. And why do you stand so far away from the centre of the baseline when you serve? It opens up right side of the court and lets him rip inside-in forehands.

You have a great serve but seem to be hesitant to come in after it. Playing S&V means you have to attack without holding back. If you don't plan to go in strong, staying back is another option.
