View Full Version : Tennis Tournament Websites

In 2009, I have followed each men's professional tennis tournament via its website. The atp tour website is good about linking up to each tournament's individual website.

So far, the ease of use has been great. Sony Ericsson stands out from the U.S. hardcourt season. In this day and age, it is not so hard to create a website and most of these tournaments do a great job. Except in Spain.

The Madrid Open website is not only the worst tennis tournament website I've seen, it is one of the worst websites period that I have ever seen. It is like a Beta version of the first internet sites.

I can overlook the dated design if the information is easily accessible. So, a few minutes ago I log in the madrid site to find the starting time for tomorrow's men's final. All I could find was that at 19:30 Hilary Swank will present a Lexus to the tournament winner.

Seriously, it is almost really that bad. It shouldn't be that hard to find tournament info from the tournament's own website.
