Can anyone challenge for a set or will it be a repeat of 08?

Doubt it. He'll play either Djokovic or Federer, and lately he's been playing not so well. He'll probably lose a few sets along the way.

I'm surprised I'm the only one that voted 0 sets lost.

I had to go with one set. It's a long tourney so I'm giving some credit to the rest of the field.

I said two, I can see a SF 4 setter, final 4 setter, or a 5 set final

I chose 2 (guarantee if he faces Djoker)
Reasoning:
Rafa has yet to beat Djoker in straight sets this year on clay so Im giving 1 set to Djoker here.
Roger will likely make it to the finals and while I dont think he will win I do think hell take a set off Rafa this year.

I went with four. One prior to the semifinals, and then three either in the semifinal or final, where he will be dethroned.

2 sets in semis if he meets Djokovic.
1 set in the finals if he meets ExFed.
So he'll lose 3 sets.

my bad your right Djoker only managed a tiebreaker that match. But the other 3 this year Djoker has gotten a set off him.

Wow, Nadal udderly dominated last yr. Just look at how many bagels and breadsticks he put up. I say it's gonna be pretty hard to match that. 1 b4 semis, 1 in semis, 1 in finals.

The other 3? Did you mean the other 2?
I am going with 1 set lost. Either djokovic, murray or federer.

nope three Djoker lost to Nadal in 3 on clay in the Davis Cup this year.

Davis CUp is best of 5.....so Djoker failed to take a set there.
I said 4 though. I figure he might lose 1 in the early rounds, I also see if in worst scenario he lines up Del Potro, Djoker, Fed he loses 1 to each. Though I think Djoker could push him to 5 this year. Fed maybe to 5 if he works really hard but bets are on Fed only able to go 4 sets with Nadal on clay we will see though. I think the French Open might be a tad bit more interesting than originally perceived.

Its possible he loses a set or two(or three), but only against Fed and Nole and if Verdasco zones maybe. I think this year will be less one sided then the years before.

Yah, I picked 6 because three of those will go to Djokovic.
