someone needs to tell her to shut up. first of all she doesn't keep quiet for more than 10 seconds at a time and sometimes talks well into and during points. and also she isn't knowledgeable at all. the talking part i can deal with, but the fact that she doesn't really even know what she's talking about isn't helping.

true, number 4 doubles probably has no idea what she is talking about.

Is that the woman with the lisp? Or is this a different woman?

I am not watching, so I don't know, but most likely on TTC it's Corina Morariu

Rennae Stubbs. Australian doubles player. I don't know if she's still active.

yeah, she played doubles earlier today. but she wins the prize for most annoying commentator of the day. op was right, she never shut up. and had nothing of note to say. when marat's game was off for the first set or so . . . all she could contribute were pearls of wisdom such as, "he didn't need to go for that shot" or "he didn't have to miss that." brilliant stuff, that.

same thing with most other women/women commentators

I know I'm in the minority, but Stubbs usually doesn't bother me and I often enjoy her commentary, though at times the over-talking is annoying.

I can't forgive her for saying there should be a fifth set tiebreak in use _

I can't forgive her for saying there should be a fifth set tiebreak in use _ You are so right. A tiebreak in the fifth set of a major is a travesty. Which is, of course, why the US Open uses it.
