Pro Tour 630. The guys from Priority 1 custom mold the pallet for Soderling.

The answer to your question is within your question. The head size is 630 sq. cm. (which is close to 98 sq. in.) That would make it a midplus racquet.

Robin uses a PT630 with i.Prestige grommets. The pallet is custom made by Priority 1 and is made from latex and feels like leather. It is really big down at the butt cap. He has two layers of lead tape from 8 to 4 under the cap grommets. He strings it with alu power.

cough.........thank you..... thank you........ I will be taking signatures in a minute:)

The frame is a PT57A which is code name for PT630, the PT630 does not have the tapered CAP which is found on the iprestige MP

BTW I have my buttcaps on my PT630 tapered like Sod to one side as well for my pinky, but not as much as Kaffy that buttcap was a door nob

If Fed is thinking of switching this is the frame he should switch to if he wants to be Nadal, just like Soderling did:):):) and Simon

Mr. Raven, as far as I know, only refers to the cosmetic visible and is just concerned with giving the specs of the frame. Same thing with Kuznetsova's frame among others on that page.

Sorry to ruin it for you, but the handle has the shape of a head handle. I practice with him sometimes when he is in Sweden and he gave me one of his racquets to try out. It is quite big, like a 4.5 (europe).

My ranking is 740 in the world so when Söderling is home sometimes his coach sends me a text message and asks if I want to practice.

Yeah, they are heavy, but not suprisingly heavy. The most amazing thing is when you play him he plays so fast and takes the ball so early with his backhand and still hits a heavy ball.

Hey Patrik, I checked you out at atp website (actually noticed this a while back) you moved up to 739, with career winnings of $5g...pretty cool...actually awesome :)

Let me ask, does the Soderling racq you have come with the PT57A code inside the throat? I do have a FXP pj'ed Gilles Simon PT57A, and Soderling racquet appears to be very similar (except that hidden lead tape is at 10-2 on Simon's racq and it is slightly long)

rosen88
06-04-2009, 10:50 PM
I use a kBlade Tour with leather grip and tourna and some lead tape at the top of the racket. String it with Iso-Speed Baseline Speed at 55 lbs. But I am switching racquets so now I am using a Prestige Pro instead. Still do not know if am going to stay with it. I will try the 4D Tour and the new Storm Tour when it will be released.

Maybe, I do not know. But no Big Banger for me, it is to expensive. I break to many strings and earn to little on the Future tour to play with them.

suggest Pro Supex Big Ace 1.22 mains and syn gut crosses at 56/58 or 55/57 if u like it softer. lasts long, comfortable tho strings move a bit after broke in. plays better broke in for me.

Have not seen the Pro Supex Big Ace in Sweden, but I will order it next time I order something from TW. Thinking about ditching the Prestige Pro, and ask Robin for his old frames (other PJ) and fix the special latex grip and play with them, now that he is in the final :-P.

It's a HEAD PT57A with Radical cosmetics. I don't know about his current specs but Greg Raven on HD tennis has his Microgel paintjob and it's pretty hefty at almost 360g, 33.75cm balance and 384 kgcm^-1 SW. Pretty sure he lowered the SW though
