Anyone else notice that Federer wears belted shorts ala Cliff Richey and the 1950's? Pretty cool

yup his belted shorts are different from the retail ones with the elastic back. Also note the orange swoosh.

OT- can someone tell me what the small trophy is for? Is that a replica for the player to keep or something? They never presented that at the ceremony.

Just compare the way Nadal plays tennis with the way Federer plays tennis and it should be self-explanatory. :)
