Happy Daze! Aunty Beeb has finally decided to use its most excellent technical platform (as seen seen on their Forumula1 Livetreams) at Wimbledon woo-hoo!

Full screen, crystal clear quality - here we come!:)

Yes - it's on red button but that's not my point. It's about the livestreams from BBC.co.uk

Previous tennis streams (last year's Wimby, Queen's this year) were OK, but relatively low quality - especially when maximised. If you watch F1 online, they use a more up to date platform that allows for much higher quality streams. They are using this same platform for this year's Wimby coverage. If you have 1mb broadband conenction you'll be able to watch crystal clear full screen livestreams form Wimbledon.

which is bluddy fantastic if you ask me :)
