I play 4-5 times a week, average of 2-3hrs per session.

I wear New Balance or K-Swiss shoes. They last me about 3 months.

Is that about average before I need to chuck them?

Just wondering how often folks here replace their shoes.

Thanks,
eagle

I play about 3 times a week for an average of 2-3 hours per session. My shoes normally last me around 6-months.

You also need to assess how hard you run during your practice. I play a fair amount of doubles which puts less stress on the shoes.

I play 6-8 hours a week on clay surface and I have 2 or 3 pair of shoes that I rotate. I end up buying new stuff because I get tired of the old ones, but they are in pretty good condition after a year or more.

I play 5-7 hours a week on red clay and after 15 months, my vapor IVs are in pretty good condition, except the mesh on the side is a bit teared.

When I played almost all singles about 5 days a week for 2-3 hours at a time on clay, my New Balance shoes would last about 6 months before the tread started to wear and I started slipping around.

Its not advertised to my knowledge, but if you get in contact with adidas they will replace them. Im not sure how long the cut off point is though. They said they would replace mine if i had the receipt.... which i didn't !!!

Ah, here in the US, the shoes come with a card in the box with all the info. At least the Nike/Adidas do.

I am wearing out Barricade V in 5 months consistently, playing 8-10 hours a week. Perfect for 6-month outsole warranty.

Yeh not the case in the UK. Im not sure if any brand advertise a warranty thinking about it. They should do.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking I need to change to a different brand/model shoes. Looks like I'll have a same results with comparable shoes.
