I'm looking for new shoes. and i love Nike. but i don't really know which model to choose.

My style is aggressive baseline grinder. i chase down every single ball and i wear through the soles of my shoes quickly. traction, comfort, and durability are big to me. im not too concerned about ventilation.

Im stuck between the Cage II, Courtballistec 1.3, or the Vapor IV.
I've never tried any of them but they all seem like great shoes.

was just wondering:

Overall Durability: */5
Traction: */5
Comfort Cushioning (wide foot ) : */5
Extra comments =P

thanks!

if breathability/ventilation isn't an issue, 1.3s all the way, no doubt. I also have wide shoes, and they felt a bit snug at first but after playing a few sets, they were fine.
durability 4/5
traction 4.5/5
comfort 6/5 (most comfy shoes I have ever played in while retaining excellent support)

thanks dude, 1.3's do look a bit on the bulky side.

I voted for the ballistecs

I have had the ballistecs for about 2 months now and they don't show any wear on the outsoles. Traction is great, but they kind of squeak like basketball shoes on hard wood when i do hard stops. and the comfort is great, they loose a little cusioning once you break them in, but not that much.

thats funny cause i've gone through three pairs of c.b 1.3s. and they all wore out in less than a month

I play exactly the same game, I could play all day from the baseline and chase every possible ball.

At the moment I am wearing Nike Air CourtBallistec 1.3 and I am wearing them out in about 2 months.

They are very comfy and the traction is very good. In my opinion I think the Nike Air CourtBallistec 1.3 look best no matter what color you get.

The Breathe Cages look good but take a while to break in and aren't as comfy.

Overall Durability: 4.5/5
Traction: 5/5
Comfort Cushioning (wide foot ) : 5/5

Hope this helps

depends on foot shape as well. vapors have a more narrow shape than the other two. If you prefer low to the ground feel, don't go with the BCIIs, that was my only substantial complaint about them; they sit rather high.

Vapors aren't even an option for you since they don't have the 6 month guarantee. The others do. So choose from the BCIIs or the CB1.3. I use the CB1.3s and thus far have found them to be the most durable shoe Nike makes.

im actually thinking about Barricades Vs.. but i cant stand their looks. the silver one looks pretty cool though.

Get a hold of the Breathe Free II's (I know, not listed), reduced on TW. I like them the best, especially if you are going to add/replace with Superfeet (green) or another better quality insole.
