I am looking for the "waffle weave" nike fabric dri fit shirts.

Not the "smooth finish" dri fit. Since I live in rural WV and the nearest true tennis shop is Cinncinati, just shopping around is not an option.

tried the 'bay and the photos are so poor you can't tell.

Anybody know where to get these or what the exact name is?

many thanks in advance !

I believe you are looking for a "Sphere Dry" shirt. I have a couple of the crews and they are awesome. I havent been able to find my favorite of them in the last few months or so (think it was from the 2008 holiday line), but you might want to check this (http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/descpageMANIKE-NMSSAC.html) one out...

Spotted some of those white, light blue polo shirts at Nike factory store over the weekend. Was going to take a photo for the heck of it, but didn't...

They go for $17.99, size M-XL...

Try washing them by themselves. I had a few that got "picks" when they were washed with shorts (buttons may have been the culprit).

I emailed Nike about the nature of all of the Dri-fit line doing this (both waffle and smooth) but never heard back from them.

Nike did release a new cotton blend T-shirt with Dri-Fit that seems to hold up much better.

I have experienced this also... pretty sure it is causes by washing with items that have either velcro or zippers
