For me, the left. I usually put all my weight on my left foot since I step into my forehands and hit my backhand off my back foot. I also slide a lot with it, I don't know why.

My right shoe, not sure what that implys.

Also if one of them comes loose and needs me to relace them it's the right one as well.

(I wear BV's)

I drag my right foot on low forehands, and it wears on the side of the shoe more than the sole.

Right. Stopping hard with right leg with open stance forehands and closed stance backhands. I also slide more with the Right foot.

I destroy the left toe and the right heel. I'm left footed, but right handed. its really annoying because i have a load of perfectly good right shoes

Left because i use my forehand more than my backhand. I usually use closed stance. I'm right handed.

this poll is pretty much a poll for who is a lefty and who is a righty

No way, me too! ... I thought I was the only one, all my friends say I'm weird for doing it

Here's the deal.

It's not a bad idea, but the majority of people who see a shoe wearing out, or both, or one more than the other, or whatever--- don't really think about the fact that one is worn out less or more than the other because they don't really pay that close of attention.

So therefore, they just buy another pair of shoes.

If however, the majority of people paid ultra close attention, your idea would be a better success.

As someone else stated... if you notice one shoe is worn out, the other won't be too far behind, if you play normally. So, you then buy a brand new shoe... meanwhile, the second original show wears out while the new one is just starting to break in.

Not a practical idea, IMO.

I toe drag on the serve and tend to hit more forehands than backhands, so the right sole definitely wears out first.
