Basing on this poll, do you think it is a good idea to sell three shoes at one time?
because most of people wear out one shoe first. So if left one wears out first, then buy 2 left and one right.

So you want to pay 50% more for three individual shoes... even if you wear them out at the same rate?

I wear out both shoes at about the same time... therefore, I don't want to pay for an extra shoe when I won't use it.

It's a waste of money and materials.

You can't... yet.

Perhaps NJboy should start a new business selling individual shoes...

Yes, I believe NJboy is testing the waters in the marketplace. NJboy, I suggest that demand for 3 shoes is not quite high enough to start up your business as most people (that I know of) have 2 feet. I don't understand how you would be able to sell varieties of 2 left shoes/1 right and 2 right shoes/1 left though.

if you can only buy one shoe to replace the broken one, will you save some money?

By the time I break my shoe the shoes will be so far out of season it won't be funny. I've been wearing the same skate shoes around for the last 2 years. Tennis shoes possibly more if I played on hard court, but I don't, so no.

If you have a pair of shoes, and you wear one side out fast, let's say the right. By the time the right shoe is worn through, the left one is broken in heavily. Then your replacement right shoe is brand new and not broken in. Not good.

I would be interested in that. My right shoe wears through real fast (like after a month and a half), but my left shoe always has some tread left on it and is no where near worn through. For me it would make my shoes last twice as long for less than twice the cost...makes perfect sense. I don't think there is enough demand for this to start a business from it though.

for example, right one, then buy two right and wear them on random.

i would, if the price was right. my shoes are still good by the time the toe guard wears out on the left shoe.

I undertstand the logic, but you could stuff up the way you walk or many other things because they newer shoe will have more tread which would make you stand higher on one foot.

Not really a good idea.....
