Ive just aquired 2 Head I.Prestiges made in austria, completely genuine rackets. Ive added some weight in the handle of one (20g) and I checked the balance points on both and the stock weight racket measured about 6pts headlight, I expected to take that up with customised version but it was 2pts headlight.
Can anyone give any reasons why?
Could this racket have been specifically made for an individual player?
There is no lead under the CAPs i can see.
The racket must be HH when I take the lead off.
If anyone needs specific numbers I can measure it up.
Thanks for the advice.

Interesting, I had 3 of them. One of them only had the leather grip (TW) = 28g) and the rest was "stock". I measured its weight at 372g!!! Accorfing to the TW the stock weight would be 343g. So, I have no idea where extra weight came from - there is no lead anywhere.
As for the balance, all of mine were about 6-7 pt HL.

would that be 343 stock +28 leather grip = 371 ??

what I find odd is the difference between the balances of the 2 rackets, its not just a point or two its about 7pts for 2 exact i.prestiges.

Ive added even more lead at the top of the butt cap so that the balance is now about 8pts HL and it has raised the weight to 366.

I took off the original grip that weighs ~15g.
So, there is some discrepency there...

Also, the SW of this stick is 336 as compared to the stock 324. Making the handle heavier, I'd expect the SW to go down...

I see........ another 13g disparity.
So maybe some stock "made in austria" rackets are not all made equally??
