What is the better serve motion for lefty? So far, I could come up with these 4 type. Let me know if there are any more and which is better for lefty to learn. thanks

1) classic (Sampras, Federrer) type,
2) twist (John McEnroe, Martina Nav) type
3) appreviated (agassi, A-Rod) type
4) straighter arm (Edberg, Nadal) type

I dont understand why you are saying it would be any different from a right handed player... its personal preference

If you wanna model your serve after someone, I'd say model it after Verdasco.

lefty exposes weakneses in the ad court that righties don't and gets free points at net on crosscourt volleys, therefore a slice to the bh is important. Brilliant question. Mac and martina is the "correct" answer.

If you're a stiff (like me), maybe PetrKorda
If you're loose and athletic, maybe GoranIvanesevic
If you're short and want to start the rally, maybe JimmyConnors
If you're medium height and strong, maybe RoscoeTanner
If you like to annoy the opposition, maybe McEBoy
If you're short but macho, maybe RodLaver
If you're a hulking gorilla, maybe VictorAmaya
If you're relying on only your serve, maybe GregRusedski
