Looks like 16x19 or 20, not 18x20 on the TW Europe site? Anybody over the pond seen it or hit with it yet? Saw a guy at the Nike 35s this past weekend in Portland using the new Storm GT. He was the US #1 in 30s a few years ago. Good player...

I took a look on the European website and it appears to have the same 18X20 pattern.

Looks like 16 mains to me and I counted twice ;)

I also count 16 on the picture. I was disappointed by the new paint myself, but moving to a 16 main pattern is even more disappointing. I mean it's not like every other Babolat frame doesn't already have a 16 main pattern. :-(

Just throwing out a preliminary "I told you so". However, if you're correct when the specs are released, congrats.

It's 18 mains from this view.

Yeah, looks like the stencil is just added in for looks. You can actually see that it's not even strung.

Either way, we'll find out in the next few weeks I guess. That fake stencil is probably one they use for all the Babs including the PD so you're probably right, it will be 18X20 for the ltd.

The current one, which has a preferable PJ for me anyway, is balanced nicely stock (though too light) and spin generation is effortless. Still, 16 mains makes for nice spin...

I don't know where babolat is going with these GTs, but the current storms and PSL look badass.

I didn't like the PST at all, but I haven't hit with the PSL. It's a shame that they destroyed the great pj.

The New PJ is ugly as sin. I'm disappointed they took away the sig orange from the Pure Storm.

Well, at least they left the 18 main pattern if not the nice paint from the current one. Maybe the new one will play slightly better and make up some for the paint, but I have my doubts.

What's the difference between carbon xtrem and gt?
What will we expect to get when we play with the new storm ltd?

FYI I've seen the new specs for it and it hasn't changed at all. They are totally identical.

They have an extended version of the PS Ltd on the TW Europe site....anyone here with experience using the extended version of the LTd?

In the last release of the PSL, the XL version was a Europe only release. I don't know if that will hold true this time or not. Either way, the control offered by the 18X20 bed coupled with the extra leverage would be a tasty prospect:twisted:

how different would an extra length play?

I recently received the PSL+ from TW Europe. It is even better than the PSL IMO. I wouldn't say it's a big difference, but it does have a slightly more flexible feel, and there seems to be a little extra pop on the serve. I am happy enough with it to sell my current PSLs.

It's an 18x20 pattern if that hadn't been cleared up already. A Babolat rep came by and dropped off the new Storm GTs and some other stuff at the shop I'm working at. As far as I can tell it's just a new (and incredibly ugly) paintjob for the storm series
